Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25, 1970) is an American former football tight-end. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. He is one of football's best tight ends Anthony David Gonzalez is also the NFL leading receiver of yards from tight ends and is third in total receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in FOX's studio. From the beginning of 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been an integral part on FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL Sunday. It airs every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET during the NFL season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a two-year $14 million deal, despite his claim that the Falcons would let him go after the 2013 season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader of receiving yards in his final season.
